So, I’m Blogging

I’ve resisted this for years. I truly have. Now, I’ve succumbed to peer pressure.

Honestly, it was about a year ago when I realized that people actually read the magazine. Seriously. When you live in our little bubble, you’re not sure anyone really cares about what you have to say. Then, all of a sudden a bunch of people would tell me how much they loved my Publisher’s Letter that month. “Really? I thought only my mom read that part of the magazine…” “No, I read that every month.” “Crap, guess I better spend more then 4 minutes writing it from now on.”

So, after much debate within my own head, here I am….blogging. Ugh.

If you know me, you know I’m a shameless promoter — not of myself or Rare or Moxie really — but of all these cool people I’ve gotten to know. I promise I’ll try not to plug them ridiculously here, but you have to promise not to get mad at me when I do. Deal?

If you don’t know me, hopefully this one little picture will at least give you an idea of what’s most important in my life…that’s my wife Kara and our little pumpkin, Sadie, in Charleston, SC earlier this year in the exact spot where Kara and I got engaged 10 years ago…
